It was at one point telling me that NI Massive was causing it to crash but it seems to have stopped saying that now.

I also had quite a few free plug ins from the net but i've recently deleted most of those too hoping to solve the problem.

* error for object 0x28fe3000: pointer being freed was not allocated Here's the last few console messages i've had from logic after it crashes Ok thanks everyone for helping out, it seems to be letting me open more projects that it once now but it does eventually keep crashing. Launch Logic, and don't change the default settings (in particular, leave it set to built-in audio).Ĭreate a few new projects. Login as that user (via Apple Menu > Log Out). Unplug non-Apple gear (especially any audio interface and/or midi interface external drives are probably OK).Ĭreate a new OS X user account (in System Preferences/Accounts). Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Ĭheck these folders (which may not all be present):ĭon't move anything, but note the presence of any non-Apple item, and tell us about that item. You can do that by running this command in Terminal: Check for the presence of non-Apple kernel extensions. I agree with the other suggestions, but I would also do this. When I go to open another project it just crashes
